About Get to the Pointe Dance Centre
Jasper’s home for dance since 2009.
About Get to the Pointe
Since opening in Jasper in July 2009, Get to the Pointe Dance Centre has been a local staple for well-rounded dance education. Whether dancing just for fun or training with a career in dance in mind, we help every student reach their goals and their full potential.
In 2016 we moved into our new home: a 7,500 square foot facility with four studios, raised marley dance floors and a store for dancewear.
Artistic Directors Lauren Sewell Bail and Carla Looney Jarrett lead our team. Lauren has taught dance since 2001, trained at Academy of Dance Arts for fifteen years, and earned her degree at Kennesaw State University with a minor in dance. Carla trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern at The Academy of Dance Arts, the Atlanta Ballet Pre-Professional Division and with The Atlanta Jazz Theatre’s Professional Ensemble.
